The U.S. men’s national team starts their sendoff series April 2, with a matchup against Mexico in Glendale Arizona.

They will then go to San Francisco to face Azerbaijan on May 27, Harrison, NJ to take on Turkey on June 1, and round it out against Nigeria in Jacksonville June 7. The US finds themselves in arguably the best group in the World Cup.

They are in a group with Germany, Portugal, and old friends Ghana. The US has recent history with Germany and Ghana.

They faced Germany last summer in a friendly the U.S. won 4-3, but it was against the German second team, and Germany scored an own goal.

The U.S. will need a better showing if they hope to beat what I think is the best team in the world. As far as Ghanaians are concerned, the U.S. were knocked out of the 2010 World cup 2-1 in extra time by Ghana.

Tickets are still available for all of the games. American Outlaws supporter tickets are available for the game in New Jersey, and San Francisco.

Yours truly will be in the supporters section for the game in Red Bull Arena. In my opinion it is the best way to watch a U.S. game. For the games you can’t make it to you can watch with supporters at local AO chapter bars.

To find your local chapter go to http://www.theamericanoutlaws.com/chapters and if you would like to become a member go to http://www.theamericanoutlaws.com/membership. Membership cost $29, but you get a t-shirt and bandanna, and access to discounted tickets. You also get discounts on sites like world soccer shop, and travel deals to games.
