It is currently the Tuesday after week two of the NFL season, and if your team is looking at zero under the win column where there should be a 1 or 2, you may have a serious problem on your hands. Here’s the problem, the last team to make the play-offs when starting 0-2 was back in 2008; also, since 1990, any team that has started 0-2, has went to the play-offs only 12% of the time. Sports fans love statistics, especially those statistics showing why your team is the best in certain categories and standings. Those 0-2 statistics are not the sorts of statistics fans of eight currently 0-2 teams were looking forward to when the season began. The silver lining in all this is that there has been a 0-2 team in recent memory to win a super bowl, so there’s hope. With all the parody in the NFL, it really is any given Sunday. There are some 0-2 teams in divisions that regardless if they are winless the other two teams in their division are not fairing much better. I will rank which of the eight 0-2 teams have the worst to best chance of making the 2013 NFL play-offs.
